Outline of the Budget

1. One campaign aims to educate the community about gender based violence, and provide information to students where to get help.
The budget of this campaign is 2,000,000 Tsh, or $792 per year. This includes fuel and provision of sanitary pads to the public schools.
2. Giving access to school facilities and school supples to vulnerable girls.
The budget of this per girl is 585,000 Tsh, or $230. See the table below for an outline of what these supplies may look like.
3. Sponsoring girls so they have access to boarding school, which is often too costly for many to attend. Here, they collaborate with Maasae Girls and Sega secondary school to get half price of the total fee.
At the Maasae Girls school they pay 1,400,000 Tsh per students and at Sega 1.7 per student per year. This corresponds to ~$550 and ~$670 per year, respectively. Students typically need four years of studies to accomplish ordinary level.
Cost of Girls' Resources:
Education is of utmost importance in supporting vulnerable girls. Furthermore, school supplies are a necessity to help girls access education. Mesha's budget for one girl is 585,000 Tsh (Tanzanian shilling), or about $230 USD. The table below shows a partial breakdown of this amount (not every item is listed), and what kind of resources your donation would provide to these girls.
